BEAVERCREEK, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets dropped to the runner-up position in the 29th Annual Cedarville Invitational following the final round at Country Club of the North.

CU had a five-shot lead at the midway point of the 36-hole, eight-team tournament. Defending champion Cumberlands (Ky.) came from the third spot to repeat as the winner with scores of 309-299-608. The Jackets were next at 301-316-617 while Indiana Tech was third, 306-318-624.

Brigham Michaud, who opened with a four-under par 68 at Beavercreek Golf Club, closed with an 80 at CCN. His 148 total tied for 3rd place.

Matt Krogstad was 6th at 74-80-154 while Ben Mounts tied for 15th, 77-83. Matt Yeiter recovered from an opening 92 to fire the second-best round of the day with a 73 to tie for 25th at 165. Trent Roach had 82-91-173.

Dan Atkeson paced a trio of CU individuals at 81-81-162 to tie for 20th. Other scores were posted by Nick Bigler, 92-81-173 and Chris Bennington, 87-89-176.
