CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville wrapped up a season-opening seven-match homestand with a three-set victory over Central State in a non-conference contest played in the Callan Athletic Center.
The Lady Jackets bested their Greene County rival 25-8, 25-15, 25-10 to improve to 4-3 overall.
CU was in control of each set. The hosts scored the first six points of the night in coasting in the first set; they used an 8-0 run to pull away in the second; and they scored the first four points of the third set in which they never trailed.
Erica Bartholomew dished out 30 assists and Heather Kirkpatrick totaled nine digs. Stephanie Rogers hammered nine kills with six blocks while Kylee Husak added eight kills.
