GEORGETOWN, Ky. - The Lady Jackets suffered a pair of setbacks at the Georgetown Invitational with losses to Southern Indiana and the host Tigers.
In Friday's opener, Southern Indiana swept Cedarville, 9-0. The Screaming Eagles surrendered just seven games total in the three doubles matches.
The Lady Jackets' best opportunity in singles was at the #4 position.
Melissa Stoltzfus dropped a 6-3, 3-6, 10-8 decision.
Georgetown defeated Cedarville, 7-2, in the second contest. The Tigers took control after claiming all three doubles matches.
Joy Dice was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at #3 singles.
Chelsea Diamond won by the same 6-1, 6-1 count at the #6 spot for the Lady Jackets, 4-4 overall.
