CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville remained unbeaten through four matches to start the season with a 6-3 win over Ohio Wesleyan at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
The Jackets held a 2-1 edge after doubles with points at the top two spots.
Lily Schuler and
Brooke Johnson were 8-5 winners at the #1 position while #2
Joy Dice and
Melissa Stoltzfus claimed an 8-3 result.
Cedarville locked down four points in singles to wrap up the outcome. Stoltzfus had the most difficult time at #4 with a 7-6 (3), 5-7, 10-7 win.
Elsewhere, #2 Johnson coasted to a 6-2, 6-1 victory; #3 Dice posted a 7-5, 6-2 decision; and #5
Maryssa Herbert was a 6-4, 6-4 winner.
