ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - Cedarville opened its spring break slate on a winning note by defeating Judson (Ill.), 7-2.

The Lady Jackets began the match by sweeping the doubles matches even though all three results were close.

The #1 duo of Brooke Johnson and Lily Schuler won by a 9-7 count. The other winners were #2 Joy Dice and Melissa Stoltzfus (8-6) and #3 Chelsea Diamond and Maryssa Herbert (8-5).

Johnson moved to the #1 spot in singles and posted a 6-3, 6-2 victory. Also registering points were #3 Dice (6-0, 6-4), #4 Stoltzfus (6-2, 6-1), and #6 Herbert (6-3, 6-2).

Cedarville squares its record at 5-5 overall. The Eagles drop to 5-6.
