NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Walsh brought Cedarville's three-match winning streak to a halt by hanging on for a 5-4 decision over the Lady Jackets.
The Cavaliers took an early 2-1 advantage in doubles. CU's point came from #2
Melissa Stoltzfus and
Joy Dice, who needed a 7-4 tiebreaker to claim the match by a 9-8 final.
The two teams split the six singles matches. Dice made it two wins on the day with a 7-6, 7-5 result at the #3 position.
Maryssa Herbert took three sets at #5 for a 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 win while #6
Lyndsay Stine won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2.
Cedarville dips to 9-8. Walsh is 10-5.
