CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Rallies to pull out two points in doubles and the bottom of the line-up in singles carried the Lady Jackets to a 5-4 win over Otterbein at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.

The visiting Cardinals appeared ready to jump out to an early 3-0 lead after doubles. They won 8-2 at the top spot and had 7-6 leads in the other two matches.

Cedarville's #2 tandem of Lily Schuler and Melissa Stoltzfus won the final three games for a 9-7 decision. The #3 duo of Courtney Heydt and Emma Rahn bounced back to win a tiebreaker, 7-2, and take the match by a 9-8 final.

The two reversals in doubles meant the Jackets needed to just split the singles. They nailed down wins in straight sets at the bottom three spots.

The singles winners were Maryssa Herbert, 6-3, 6-3; Lyndsay Stine, 6-3, 6-3; and Chelsea Diamond, 6-3, 6-2.

The Lady Jackets improve to 4-1 overall.
