CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Former Lady Jacket standout and NAIA Division II Player of the Year Brittany Smart recently signed with the Melbourne Boomers of the WNBL.
Smart, who was the 2007 NAIA National Player of the Year, is Cedarville's all-time leading scorer with 3,236 points. She graduated as the state of Ohio's career scoring leader in women's basketball.
Smart was a three-time NAIA All-American. The Lady Jackets posted a 126-16 record during her career with two NAIA runner-up finishes, one semifinal appearance, one quarterfinal appearance, and four conference titles.
Smart still holds 11 NAIA Division II National Tournament records including most points scored in one game (47) and career (405).
