DAYTON, Ohio - The Lady Jackets began the Great Midwest Athletic Conference schedule with a 5-4 win over Alderson Broaddus indoors at the Five Seasons Sports Club.

Cedarville, 5-6 overall, took a 2-1 lead after doubles before the two sides split the six singles matches.

The #1 doubles pairing of Lauren Jackson and Kristen Heydt were 8-6 winners.

The other point came from #3 Kelly Fischer and Audra Kearney, 8-5.

Jackson cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 decision at #1 singles.

Also winning in straight sets were #4 Deanna Whalen and #5 Rosie Thompson.
