MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The Lady Jackets won for the fifth consecutive time with a 7-2 non-conference result at Bethel.

The contest was played indoors at the South Bend Racquet Club.

Cedarville, 9-6 overall, grabbed a 2-1 lead after doubles and both points were by 8-0 scores.

The winners were #1 Lauren Jackson and Kristen Heydt as well as #3 Rosie Thompson and Elise Perry.

Jackson won in straight sets at #1 singles. Whalen, Ancil, Thompson, and Perry claimed their matches in positions 3-through-6, respectively.

"This was a good match for us. Bethel's players gave ours a good challenge.  Also, it was good to play an NCCAA school.

"All our doubles teams played great tennis which is so important in our 9-point match format.  We're hoping for a warmer and drier week to facilitate good practice as we prep for our last few matches and the G-MAC tournament."
