MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Cedarville rallied in singles to edge Alderson Broaddus, 5-4, in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference match played indoors at the Ridgeview Racquet Club.
The Lady Jackets trailed 2-1 coming out of doubles. The #3 tandem of
Rosie Thompson and
Deanna Whalen registered the point with an 8-4 result.
CU needed to win four singles matches to pull out the victory.
It all came down to #6
Audra Kearney, who wrapped up the outcome with a 7-6, 6-1 decision.
Other wins came from #2
Janelle English, #4
Kristen Heydt, and #5
Rosie Thompson.
The Jackets improve to 10-5 overall and 3-1 G-MAC.
