Isaac Wood turned in an even par 72 and is tied for second place following the first round of the NCCAA Men's Golf Championship.
The sophomore from Hollidaysburg, Pa. shot 36-36 on the 6,969 yard, par 72 Hammock Beach Resort's Conservatory Course.
The Yellow Jackets are in seventh place with a 316 total. Campbellsville is on top of the 12-team tournament at 300.
Cody Cogdill shot a 78. CU's other scores were posted by
Jared Hoelzen (81),
Hayden James (85), and
Ben Sheard (93).
The middle round of the 54-hole event is Tuesday with the top nine schools making the cut.
