CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville and Lake Erie settled for a 0-0 standoff in two overtimes in a G-MAC men's soccer contest.
The Yellow Jackets, 6-4-2 overall and 5-1-2 G-MAC, are unbeaten in their last four outings.
Carter Selvius made three saves including a big stop in the first OT en route to his third consecutive shutout.
Cedarville totaled more shots overall, 11-8, but the Storm had more on goal, 3-2, during the defensive struggle.
The Jackets had two prime scoring opportunities in the second half.
Derek Braak ripped a 15-yarder midway through the period that the LEC keeper parried just wide.
Cole Butaud curled a shot from the top of the box that grazed the left post with 4:30 to play.
Stinger Notes:
- Selvius and the CU defense have not allowed a goal in 303 minutes.
- The last scoreless draw was 9/13/14 at home vs. Lock Haven.
- Cedarville has conceded less than two goals in nine matches this fall.
- The Jackets are 2-0-1 in three meetings vs. Lake Erie - all shutouts.
