NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Cedarville swept host Trevecca in decisive fashion to pick up its first conference victory of the season.
The Lady Jackets cruised by scores of 25-18, 25-23, 25-10.
The second set was the key for the visitors after trailing by as many as six points at 16-10. CU never took the lead until 24-23 while scoring the final three points in the frame.
Taylor Wilkerson buried 12 kills and rejected four blocks for Cedarville, 2-9 overall and 1-3 G-MAC.
Lauren Willow chipped in seven kills and six blocks.
Brooke Blattner matched her career-high of eight blocks while
Faith Ferris added six.
Sierra Schuitema totaled 19 assists and
Autumn Foust had 11 digs.
Stinger Notes:
- Wilkerson is averaging 4.0 kills/set in her last three outings.
- Blattner previously had eight blocks in a five-set match vs. Northwood last season.
- The 14 team blocks was a season high.
- Cedarville leads the all-time season series, 12-4.
