CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Defending G-MAC champion Hillsdale started quickly and rode the momentum to a three-set sweep over Cedarville in the Callan Athletic Center.
The Chargers were 25-8, 25-23, 25-19 winners to up their record to 11-3 overall and 8-0 G-MAC.
No players on either side hit double figures in kills.
Faith Ferris totaled nine for the Lady Jackets, 5-12 overall and 4-6 G-MAC.
Taylor Wilkerson had eight kills and 12 digs.
Erin McCullough and
Lauren Willow added five kills apiece.
Sierra Schuitema dished out 24 assists and
Autumn Foust was good for 21 digs.
Stinger Notes:
- Cedarville had its three-match winning streak snapped.
- A crowd of 538 turned out on Tail Gate Night which featured food trucks outside the Callan Athletic Center before the match.
- Hillsdale won both regular season contests and leads the all-time series, 7-2.
