COLUMBUS, Ohio - Derek Braak scored early in the second half and the CU defense did the rest in a 1-0 win at Ohio Dominican in G-MAC men's soccer action.

The Yellow Jackets posted their second straight shutout result and third consecutive victory overall in improving to 6-4-1 overall and 5-1-1 G-MAC.

Braak headed in a cross from Nick Marculo in the 50th minute for his team-high sixth goal of the fall.

Carter Selvius came up with four saves in goal in recording his third shutout.

Stinger Notes:

• Braak has scored goals in three straight games and has 24 for his career.
• Shots were at a premium. Each team totaled nine overall and ODU had the advantage on goal, 4-3.
• The Jackets split their six-game road swing by winning the last three.
• CU leads the all-time season series, 21-10-3, which began in the 1977 season.
• The two sides close out the regular season in Cedarville on Oct. 23.
