FINDLAY, Ohio - Findlay blitzed Cedarville with a big first quarter and rode the momentum for a 73-64 G-MAC result at Croy Gymnasium.
The outcome drops the Lady Jackets, 16-4 overall and 12-2 G-MAC, to second place behind Kentucky Wesleyan.
The host Oilers scored the first eight points of the contest and never trailed. They shot a blistering 85 percent (11-for-13) in the opening ten minutes and darted to a 27-9 lead.
Cedarville shaved the deficit to eight by halftime and got as close as three points on three occasions in the final five minutes of the game before running out of time.
Baylee Bennett drilled five three pointers en route to 17 points while
Regina Hochstetler hit four triples and tallied 16.
Ashlyn Huffman totaled 13 points with four assists and
Alli Roh came off the bench to grab 11 rebounds.

- The Lady Jackets outscored Findlay 55-46 over the final three quarters.
- Hochstetler is averaging 15.3 points and shooting .476 (10-for-21) outside the arc in the last three games.
- Cedarville controlled the boards, 33-28, and each side committed ten turnovers.
- In the past three games, Huffman is averaging 15.0 points and converting .563 of her field goal attempts.
- The Oilers outscored the visitors 16-6 at the free throw line.
- The Lady Jackets knocked down ten three-pointers - the 12th time they've made at least ten this season.
- CU has just 40 turnovers total in its last five contests compared to 75 for the opposition.
- The home team won the two regular season games. UF leads the all-time series, 26-9.
