CEDARVILLE, Ohio - A goal late in the first half is all Findlay needed to stifle the Lady Jackets, 1-0, in G-MAC women's soccer action.
It was the fifth consecutive victory for the Oilers, 7-0-1 overall and 5-0-1 G-MAC. Cedarville dips to 4-5 and 3-2 G-MAC.
Findlay's goal came with exactly one minute remaining on the first period clock.
The hosts outshot CU 7-5 overall and 5-2 on goal.
The Jackets didn't attempt their first shot until the 49th minute and the Oiler defense allowed just two through the first hour.
Allison Garlock logged all 90 minutes between the pipes and was credited with four saves.

- Findlay has allowed just two goals this season.
- The Oilers' only blemish, a 0-0 (2ot) tie, occurred at home vs. Tiffin - CU's next opponent.
- Cedarville is 2-4 in games ending with a 1-0 score line this season.
