TIFFIN, Ohio -
Olivia Hoffman netted her first two goals of the season to spark Cedarville to an impressive 4-0 G-MAC women's soccer victory at Tiffin.
Hannah Atkinson added a goal and an assist as the Lady Jackets squared their overall record at 5-5 while pushing the G-MAC mark to 4-2.
Atkinson scored in the ninth minute from
Mackenzie Northcutt and then set up Hoffman for her first tally in the 22nd.
Emma Conway notched her first goal of the season from
Aleah Martone three minutes into the second period. Hoffman scored from
Grace Cain in the 85th minute to make it 4-0.
Allison Garlock made two saves en route to her third shutout of the campaign and the 16th of her career.
Stinger Notes:
- Garlock's 16th career shutout matches Alysia Bennett (2009-11) for second on CU's all-time list.
- Conway's goal was her first since her freshman year when she scored the winner in a 1-0 (2OT) result at Ohio Valley.
- Tiffin leads the all-time series, 12-4-3, but the Jackets have won the last four meetings.
