PAINESVILLE, Ohio -
Emma Conway's two early goals within a span of 39 seconds propelled the Lady Jackets to a 3-1 G-MAC result at Lake Erie.
Cedarville has won four of its last five contests to improve to 6-5 overall and 5-2 G-MAC.
Conway headed in a corner from
Aleah Martone in the 13th minute and then shortly after ripped a 30-yarder to make it 2-0.
The host Storm made it interesting by cutting the difference in half just 20 seconds before the intermission.
Olivia Hoffman secured the outcome with a goal in the 86th minute from
Anna Carrico.
The Jackets outshot LEC 18-5 overall and 11-2 on goal.
Allison Garlock made one save.
Stinger Notes:
- After scoring one goal through the first 59 games of her career, Conway has netted three in the last two contests.
- Cedarville has won all three games in the season series outscoring the Storm, 8-1.
- The Lady Jacket defense has conceded but five goals in the last nine games.
