PEPPER PIKE, Ohio -
Taylor Noll broke a scoreless dual in the 83rd minute to provide Cedarville a 1-0 G-MAC win at Ursuline.
The Lady Jackets, 7-5 overall and 6-2 G-MAC, registered their third straight victory - all on the road.
Noll received a through ball from
Mackenzie Northcutt near the top of the penalty area. Her low shot beat the keeper near post for her second tally of the season.
Neither side was lacking for chances offensively. Each team totaled 21 shots and were equal in shots on goal with 11 apiece.
Allison Garlock matched her career-high with 11 saves and registered her fourth clean sheet of the campaign.
Stinger Notes:
- It was the seventh 1-0 contest played this season.
- CU has won five its last six games will allowing just three goals in that span.
- The Jackets, who went 3-1 on their road trip, will host their next four contests.
- Garlock moved into second place on Cedarville's all-time shutouts list with 17.
- The Lady Jackets hold a 9-8-4 edge in the all-time series vs. Ursuline.
