DAYTON, Ohio - No. 2 seed Walsh scored the game winner in the fourth minute of overtime to sting the No. 3 Lady Jackets, 2-1, in the G-MAC Tournament Semifinals at Roger Glass Stadium.

The Cavaliers, 15-4, headed in the decisive goal from close range off of a corner kick.

Cedarville had leveled the contest in the 65th minute on Olivia Hoffman's team-high eighth goal of the season.

Emmy Conway sent a long service into the box where Hoffman one-timed a volley high up into the net.

Walsh broke into the scoring column just 30 seconds before halftime to take a 1-0 lead into intermission.

Senior goalkeeper Allison Garlock made seven saves for the Lady Jackets, 12-6-1.

Stinger Notes:
  • Hoffman recorded a point in her seventh consecutive game.
  • The outcome broke a nine-game unbeaten streak for the Lady Jackets (8-0-1).
  • The all-time season series between the two schools is tied at 9-9-3.
  • Walsh meets No. 4 Ohio Dominican in Saturday's final after the Panthers upset No. 1 Findlay, 1-0.
