CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Jonny Stephens' looping header in the 99th minute gave Cedarville a come-from-behind 2-1 overtime result against upset-minded Kentucky Wesleyan.
The victory kept the Yellow Jackets, 9-2-6 overall and 6-2-5 G-MAC, in third place in the league with Tuesday's regular season finale at Ohio Dominican looming.
Brett Vaughn's service was headed three times - by
Sammy Kilimann, by
Zac Muir, and then by Stephens, who with his back to the goal, lofted it over the keeper inside the far post.
The visiting Panthers got on the board first when a miscue in the box led to a goal in the 21st minute.
It took the home side until the 81st to level the match when
Pedro Alvares found
Gui Fernandes, who finished a ten-yarder into the upper corner.
Stinger Notes:
