COLUMBUS, Ohio -
Josiah Fragnito scored twice as Cedarville wrapped up the regular season with a convincing 4-0 victory at Ohio Dominican in a G-MAC rematch.
The Yellow Jackets, 10-2-6 overall and 7-2-5 G-MAC, finished third in the G-MAC table and will host a first round game on Saturday in the conference tournament.
Sammy Kilimann opened the scoring unassisted in the 35th minute before Fragnito netted his first in the 43rd from
Andre Salviano.
Gui Fernandes made it 3-0 unassisted three minutes into the second half and then set up Fragnito for the fourth tally in the 72nd minute.
Carter Selvius registered his sixth shutout and was called upon to make two saves.
Stinger Notes:
- Fernandes and Kilimann lead the team in goals with seven apiece.
- CU and ODU tied, 1-1, in the G-MAC opener back on Sept. 18.
- It was the first shutout since a 1-0 result over then No. 5 Lake Erie on Oct. 16.
- Cedarville has scored in every contest this season.
- The four goals were the most tallied against a G-MAC opponent in 2019.
- CU leads the all-time series vs. the Panthers, 22-11-4.
- The No. 3 seed Yellow Jackets host No. 6 Findlay on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. EST in the G-MAC Tournament.
