KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Cedarville hammered out 16 hits and scored runs in each of the last six innings to defeat Northern State, 12-9, at Heritage Park in the RussMatt Invitational.
Payton Eeles,
Elijah Sanchez, and
Brendan Toungate contributed three hits apiece for the Yellow Jackets, 3-5.
Austin Brown,
Connor Culhane, and
Bryce Hughes added two hits each. Culhane drove in three runs while Brown and Eeles tallied two RBI apiece.
CU had to overcome a 4-1 deficit through four innings. The visitors took the lead for good with a two-run sixth inning.
Starting pitcher
Logan Wynalda picked up his first collegiate victory. He struck out five batters in five innings.
Noah Schleinitz tossed the final 1 1/3 innings to get his first career save.

- Elliott Gilmore, Hunter Kraynak, and Riley Landrum also pitched in relief.
- Northern State was credited with seven errors leading to four unearned runs.
