CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Hannah Atkinson scored two minutes into overtime and
Allison Garlock made several stellar saves to give the Lady Jackets a 1-0 result over West Virginia Wesleyan.
It's the first victory of the season for Cedarville, 1-3. The Bobcats are winless in two outings.
Olivia Hoffman was credited with the assist on the winning goal. Her corner kick from the left side landed in the six-yard box and Atkinson flicked it past the keeper with her right foot.
Up until then, the Lady Jackets had mustered just one shot on goal. West Virginia Wesleyan held the shot advantage 13-6 overall and 7-2 on frame.
Garlock came up with seven saves in what was her 14th career shutout.
Stinger Notes:

- Garlock's 14th shutout places her third in the school's career record book.
- The schools have split two meetings in women's soccer - both decided by 1-0 scores in OT.
