Sammy Kilimann tallied late in regulation as Cedarville and Trevecca eventually played to a 1-1 draw in G-MAC men's soccer action.
It's the second tie in three conference matches for the Yellow Jackets, 2-1-3 overall and 0-1-2 G-MAC.
The host Trojans, 1-3-1 and 0-1-1 G-MAC, got on the board in the 29th minute and it stayed 1-0 until Kilimann equalized with 2:18 left on the clock.
It was the first goal of the season for the sophomore from Colorado Springs, Colo. and the fifth of his career.
Carter Selvius played the full 110 minutes between the pipes and was credited with five saves.
Stinger Notes:
- All five of Kilimann's career goals have come in the second half with four in the final ten minutes of regulation.
- Cedarville outshot the hosts 12-5 after halftime and held a 10-0 edge overall in corner kicks.
- Each team was shown three yellow cards.
- The Yellow Jackets are 12-1-3 in the all-time series vs. Trevecca.
- The two sides meet again in Cedarville on Oct. 31.
