ALLENDALE, Mich. - Rollins netted the deciding goal in the 102nd minute to outscore the Lady Jackets, 4-3, at Grand Valley State University.
The outcome spoiled three comebacks by Cedarville featuring an exciting finish in regulation to force extra time.
Hannah Atkinson's second goal of the contest on an assist from
Taylor Noll with 36 seconds remaining knotted the score, 3-3.
The Tars, 1-1, got the game winner 1:41 into the second overtime.
Atkinson, who now has 25 career goals, scored her first of the season in the 16th minute to level the contest, 1-1.
Noll scored in the 60th from
Olivia Hoffman and
Bex Velloney to forge a 2-2 tie.
Rollins enjoyed a sizable shot advantage, 25-7 overall and 11-4 on goal.
Allison Garlock made seven saves.
