NORTH CANTON, Ohio - WBCA Division II No. 25 and G-MAC leader Walsh converted two free throws with 1.6 seconds left to edge Cedarville, 75-73, at Alumni Arena.
The contest was part of the NCAA Division II Showcase carried on ESPN3.
Abby Wolford's layup with 19 seconds remaining produced the game's sixth and final tie.
The Cavaliers, 14-2 overall and 7-0 G-MAC, made the most of the final possession resulting in the game-winning charity tosses.
Cedarville, 11-5 and 4-3 G-MAC, recovered from a 12-point deficit late in the third quarter. The Jackets erupted on a 16-3 run to lead 60-58 with 8:10 to go.
Ashlyn Huffman totaled 22 points and seven assists.
Isabelle Bolender scored 17 points and
Abby Wolford added 15.
