COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets came up with their best defensive effort of the season to lock down Ohio Dominican, 62-53, in a G-MAC men's basketball road contest.
The outcome avenged a home setback to ODU just 16 days ago.
Isaiah Speelman popped in a game-high 18 points for Cedarville, 10-8 overall and 5-3 G-MAC.
Kollin Van Horn tallied 14 points while
Branden Maughmer added 12 points with five assists.
The Yellow Jackets held the Panthers to 27 percent shooting in the first half while inching out to a 26-22 lead.
A 9-2 start to the second period established control for the visitors, who didn't let the margin get below four points the rest of the way.

- Speelman made 8-of-10 shots from the field.
- The 53 points scored by the Panthers was the fewest allowed to an opponent.
- Ohio Dominican was a 78-71 winner in Cedarville on January 2.
- The .305 field goal percentage was also the lowest by an opponent this winter.
- In the last six games, Van Horn is averaging 14.2 ppg and shooting .603 from the floor.
- It was the 88th meeting in the all-time series with CU leading, 64-24.
- The Yellow Jackets play their next five games in the Callan Athletic Center.
