HIGHLIGHTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville assembled its best defensive effort of the season and stifled Trevecca, 77-41, in G-MAC women's basketball action at the Callan Athletic Center.
The Lady Jackets, 15-5 overall and 8-3 G-MAC, won their fourth straight while extending their home court winning streak to 23 in a row.
Cedarville surrendered just 24 points to the Trojans through the first three quarters and built the difference to as much as 39 midway through the fourth.
Abby Wolford scored 16 points,
Alli Roh had 12, and
Paige Garr chipped in 11.
Roh pulled down six rebounds and
Emily Chapman dished out six assists.
Stinger Notes:
- The 41 points allowed was the fewest since giving up 43 to Trevecca in the first meeting on Dec. 14.
- CU shot better than 50 percent from the field for the fourth straight time.
- The Trojans entered the contest with a four-game winning streak.
- Eleven Lady Jackets scored and 12 took in at least one rebound.
- Cedarville has won 30 consecutive regular season games at home
- The Lady Jackets own ten straight wins over TNU and lead the all-time series, 13-3.
