CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Malone scored the last nine points and halted Cedarville's home court winning streak with an 81-74 G-MAC decision at the Callan Athletic Center in the annual Play4Kay contest.

The Lady Jackets, 16-6 overall and 9-4 G-MAC, had won 24 consecutive contests on campus and 32 straight in regular season play.

CU took its last lead, 74-72, when Alli Roh buried a baseline jumper with 2:07 to play.

The Pioneers regained the advantage on a three-pointer with 1:13 remaining and then made six-of-six free throws down the stretch to seal it.

Abby Wolford poured in a team-high 25 points. Unfortunately for the Jackets, the senior guard left the game early in the fourth quarter and did not return.

Ashlyn Huffman totaled ten points and seven assists while Roh chipped in nine points.

Stinger Notes:
  • Wolford's 25 points came in 22 minutes of playing time and matched her season high (Christian Brothers).
  • Malone was 15-of-16 at the free throw line.
  • Cedarville's last home loss was 82-64 to Hillsdale in the G-MAC Tournament semifinals on March 2, 2017.
  • The last regular season home setback occurred on Dec. 16, 2016 at the hands of Findlay, 92-83 in double overtime.
  • It was the 50th meeting between the programs with the Jackets leading the all-time series, 36-14.
  • The two teams play again in Canton, Ohio on Feb. 22.
