PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Junior guard
Ashlyn Huffman erupted for a career-high 30 points to lead the Lady Jackets to an 84-76 G-MAC victory at Lake Erie.
She added nine rebounds and four assists as Cedarville improved to 17-6 overall and 10-4 G-MAC.
Cedarville, playing its first game without leading scorer
Abby Wolford, had to recover from a ten-point hole in the second quarter.
The visitors got within 37-35 by halftime and then shot 56 percent from the field in the second half to take over the momentum.
Emily Chapman netted 16 points while freshman
Paige Garr stepped back into the starting lineup to add 11.
Stinger Notes:
- Huffman scored 20 of her 30 points in the second half.
- The team's four turnovers was a season-low.
- Garr has scored in double figures in four of the last five games.
- Cedarville swept both regular season games from the Storm.
- The Jackets are a perfect 11-0 in the all-time series vs. Lake Erie.
