HILLSDALE, Mich. -
Emily Chapman pumped in 17 points to lead four players in double figures during Cedarville's 66-53 win at Hillsdale in G-MAC women's basketball action.
Isabelle Bolender was good for 14 points for the Lady Jackets, 18-6 overall and 11-4 G-MAC.
Ashlyn Huffman totaled 11 points and six assists while
Allison Mader came off the bench with 10 points.
Cedarville scored the last nine points over the final 2:30 of the contest to keep the Chargers at bay.
The Jackets stretched a 38-32 halftime lead into a 13-point spread early in the third quarter before the home team made a comeback.
Stinger Notes:
- Chapman has scored 33 points in the last two games while going 9-for-9 at the line.
- Mader turned in her third ten-point effort of the season.
- The Jackets made all eight of their free throws.
- CU committed eight turnovers and is averaging just nine TO's in the last six outings.
- It was the only regular season game between the two schools.
- Cedarville leads the all-time series, 5-4.
