CANTON, Ohio - The Lady Jackets jumped on Malone from the outset and never trailed during an impressive 66-50 G-MAC victory at Osborne Hall.
Cedarville, 19-6 overall and 12-4 G-MAC, took over sole possession of third place in the league standings with two games to play.
The outcome also avenged an 81-74 loss to the Pioneers just nine days earlier that ended the Lady Jackets' 24-game home court winning streak.
This time it was all Cedarville. The visitors scored the first five points, led 12-3 less than four minutes in, and were up 13 by halftime.
The Jackets were firmly in control when the scoreboard blinked 52-29 late in the third quarter.
Ashlyn Huffman tallied game-highs of 15 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
Alli Roh came off the bench with 13 points and
Emily Chapman flipped in 11.
