NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Isabelle Bolender didn't miss a shot and scored 17 points to lead the Lady Jackets to a convincing 94-61 G-MAC victory at Trevecca.
It was win number ten in a row for Cedarville, 10-1 overall and 10-1 G-MAC, while the Trojans were playing in their season opener.
Bolender made all six of her field goals including a pair of three-pointers and went three-for-three at the line.
Emily Chapman racked up 14 points to go along with team-highs of eight rebounds and five assists.
Stevie Johnting drained four treys en route to 14 points while
Allison Mader and
Lexi Moore chipped in 11 points apiece.
The Lady Jackets never trailed, held a 56-26 lead at halftime, and inflated the margin to as much as 35 points early in the third quarter.
Stinger Notes:
- Moore's 11 points were a career-high.
- All ten players in uniform scored, grabbed at least one rebound, and played a minimum of 12 minutes.
- CU made 17-of-20 free throws including a perfect 12-for-12 in the second half.
- The Jackets hit double figures in three-point baskets (11) for the sixth game in a row.
- Bolender has totaled 33 points on 12-of-13 shooting in the past two outings.
- Cedarville is the first G-MAC team to reach the midway point of the 22-game schedule.
- The Lady Jackets lead the all-time series, 14-3, with 11 straight wins.
- Trevecca visits the Callan Athletic Center on February 11.
