CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Branden Maughmer pumped in 26 points to lead Cedarville to a 70-55 win over G-MAC foe Lake Erie at the Callan Athletic Center.
The Yellow Jackets, 5-2 overall and 5-2 G-MAC, picked up their fourth consecutive victory.
Maughmer was busy on both ends of the floor by adding four rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocked shots.
Jacob Drees registered a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds while
Jayvon Maughmer came off the bench with 13 points.
Reigning G-MAC Player of the Week
Conner TenHove had 10 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.
Cedarville took a 33-25 lead into the intermission. A 12-point spurt gave the Jackets their largest lead, 65-42, with 4:25 to play.
Stinger Notes:
- The scoring totals for the Maughmer brothers were season-highs.
- Drees' double-double was his second of the year (23-10 vs. Ohio Valley).
- Cedarville enjoyed a +12 rebound margin (39-27).
- The Yellow Jackets outscored the visitors 30-10 in the paint.
- CU is 12-3 in the all-time series having won the last five meetings.
