CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville battled G-MAC leader and defending champion Findlay to a scoreless draw on Senior Day.
Neither team solved the opposing goalkeeper through 110 minutes of action in what was a rematch of the 2021 spring conference final.
It was the second straight shutout and eighth of the season for the Lady Jackets, 7-4-2 overall and 7-2-1 G-MAC.
CU attempted more shots, 14-9, and had the slight edge on goal, 8-7.
Brooke Ackley made seven saves in recording her third consecutive shutout and sixth of the campaign.
Stinger Notes:
- Ackley has not surrendered a goal in nearly 315 minutes (at Ashland).
- It was the second scoreless draw of the season - both played at home (Southern Indiana).
- The defense has allowed but one goal in the last five games.
- The Oilers defeated CU in the 2021 spring G-MAC final, 2-1, in Columbus.
- Findlay leads the all-time series, 5-2-1.
