HAMMOND, Ind. - The Lady Jackets opened the final day at the Midwest Region Crossover with a loss to Davenport, but bounced back to down Truman State to end with a 2-1 record.
In the first match, Davenport recovered for a 22-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-18 decision.
Riley Hensley finished with nine kills while
Liene Miller added eight kills and 15 digs.
Haley Goff doled out 22 assists,
Mallory Delamarter had 16 digs, and
Hannah Willow rejected eight blocks.
Cedarville came back with a 18-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-21 win against Truman.
Lauren Willow pounded 17 kills while younger sister Hannah piled up seven more blocks.
Goff had 37 assists and Delamarter served up four aces for the Jackets, 6-10 overall.
Stinger Notes:
- The 13th annual event involving the G-MAC, GLIAC, and GLVC was held in the Hammond Sportsplex.
- The G-MAC finished with a 16-20 record.
- There were 29 ties and 15 lead changes in the Truman State contest.
- Cedarville is 3-2 all-time vs. Davenport and 2-0 against Truman.
