CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Mackenzie Northcutt blasted in the game's first goal and anchored a Lady Jacket defense during a 3-0 G-MAC result against Ursuline in the annual Homecoming game.
CU is 5-3-1 overall and sits in third place in the G-MAC table with a 5-1 mark.
The contest was scoreless until Northcutt ripped a 35-yard laser into the upper right corner of the net in the 55th minute.
Jada Hensley looped in her first career goal from 20 yards out in the 67th from
Mary Kate Wyer.
Addie Erslan knocked in her team-leading third tally of the season with 1:41 remaining.
Stinger Notes:
- Brooke Ackley made one save in recording her fourth shutout.
- Cedarville has five clean sheets and has allowed just three goals in the last six outings.
- The home side dominated the shots category overall (19-3) and on goal (8-1).
- Corner kicks were 7-0 in favor of the Lady Jackets.
- CU swept both regular season meetings and leads the all-time series, 13-8-4.
