PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville shut down Lake Erie for the second time in two weeks with a 3-0 G-MAC road victory.
Hannah Sareyka,
Audrey Nelson, and
Tiffany Campbell did the scoring while
Brooke Ackley registered her fifth clean sheet.
Sareyka tallied from
Addie Erslan in the 19th minute for the Jackets, 6-3-1 overall and 6-1 G-MAC.
Nelson found the net unassisted in the 55th and Campbell made it 3-0 in the 74th from
Cora Van Dyck.
Shots favored the visitors 18-8 overall and 10-3 on goal.
Stinger Notes:
- The defense has strung together 262 consecutive scoreless minutes.
- Ackley was called upon to make three saves.
- Nelson's goal was her first since scoring in the season opener.
- CU needed overtime to beat the Storm at home, 1-0.
- The Jackets are 6-0 all-time against Lake Erie with a 13-1 goal differential.
