NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Walsh won the final two sets to take a five-set G-MAC victory from the Lady Jackets at Alumni Arena.
The host Cavaliers finished strong for a 25-27, 26-24, 23-25, 25-14, 15-11 win.
Liene Miller posted team-highs of 26 kills and 20 digs for Cedarville, 3-8 overall and 2-5 G-MAC.
Lauren Willow added 12 kills while
Riley Hensley had eight. Both players turned aside three blocks apiece.
Haley Goff (29) and
Maddie Lloyd (24) shared setting duties and combined for 53 assists.
Stinger Notes:
- Kailee McLaughlin led the squad with four blocks.
- Payton Krahn came up with 16 digs.
- The match was tied 33 times with 12 lead changes.
- The Cavaliers never trailed in the decisive fifth set.
- Walsh leads the all-time series, 40-19.
