Lady Jackets solid in 2-0 result at KWC

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Mary Kate Wyer had a goal and an assist as Cedarville completed a perfect two-game G-MAC southern road swing with a 2-0 win at Kentucky Wesleyan.

The Lady Jackets, 9-4-2 overall and 9-2-1 G-MAC, are unbeaten in their last four outings.

Wyer opened the scoring in the 14th minute on an assist from Olivia Hoffman.

Erslan made it a two-goal lead in the 55th with Wyer and Lisi Williamson assisting.

Jocelyn Gross earned the start in goal with four saves and her third clean sheet.

CU dominated the shots category by margins of 27-8 overall and 15-4 on goal.

  • The defense has allowed but two goals in the last seven games.
