OWENSBORO, Ky. -
Mary Kate Wyer had a goal and an assist as Cedarville completed a perfect two-game G-MAC southern road swing with a 2-0 win at Kentucky Wesleyan.
The Lady Jackets, 9-4-2 overall and 9-2-1 G-MAC, are unbeaten in their last four outings.
Wyer opened the scoring in the 14th minute on an assist from
Olivia Hoffman.
Erslan made it a two-goal lead in the 55th with Wyer and
Lisi Williamson assisting.
Jocelyn Gross earned the start in goal with four saves and her third clean sheet.
CU dominated the shots category by margins of 27-8 overall and 15-4 on goal.
Stinger Notes:
- The defense has allowed but two goals in the last seven games.
- The Lady Jackets have shutout nine of their 15 opponents.
- Wyer's five assists is tops on the club.
- Erslan scored for the second straight time and has a team-leading five goals.
