NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Aleah Martone's return to the Lady Jacket lineup was just what they needed in a 1-0 G-MAC victory at Walsh.

The senior forward, who had missed the previous six games with an injury, looped in the game's only goal in the 73rd minute.

It was the third straight win for Cedarville, 10-4-2 overall and 10-2-1 G-MAC.

Martone was near the end line on the left side when her high shot cleared the Cavalier keeper and dropped just inside the far post.

The visitors' defense did the rest. Brooke Ackley stopped three shots and the back line saved another in what was her seventh shutout.

Stinger Notes:

• Martone had not played since the Homecoming game against Ursuline on October 2.
• Each team was limited to only four shots on goal apiece.
• The Jackets have allowed just one goal in the past five outings.
• The all-time series vs. Walsh is even at 10-10-3.
• Cedarville has a rare Saturday off before hosting Ohio Dominican on Tuesday in the regular season finale.
