CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Paige Garr fired in a career-high 25 points and Cedarville recovered from a 17-point deficit to stun Southern Indiana in overtime, 88-82, to close out the Midwest Region Crossover.

Garr's fifth three-pointer of the contest gave the home team an 84-80 lead with 43 seconds left in the OT. Her two free throws with 20 seconds to go pushed the difference to six.

Emily Chapman, whose triple early in the extra session put the home team up for good, had 20 points and eight rebounds.

Isabelle Bolender totaled 19 points, eight boards, and four assists. Anne Wheeler chipped in 12 points and Lexi Moore hauled in a career-high 12 rebounds.

The Screaming Eagles dug themselves out of an eight-point hole in the fourth quarter and missed a shot at the end of regulation which would have won the game.

USI flew out to a 16-point cushion in the first quarter and inflated the difference to 30-13 early in the second.

Stinger Notes:

• Garr made all six of her free throws and CU hit 26-of-32 as a team.
• Chapman gave the Jackets their first lead, 58-57, on a bomb with 24 seconds to go in the third quarter.
• The hosts made 12 three-pointers with six different players contributing.
• It was the second meeting between the two schools with USI taking the first one nine seasons ago.
• Lake Superior State held off G-MAC member Ohio Dominican in the first game, 68-64.
