Ashland avoids ‘White Out’ to beat CU in four

HIGHLIGHTS

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - G-MAC South Division leader Ashland needed four sets to get by host Cedarville on 'White Out Night' in the Callan Athletic Center.

The Eagles claimed the victory 25-17, 25-21, 24-26, 25-14.

Liene Miller did the major work for the Lady Jackets, 9-12 overall and 6-8 G-MAC.

She racked up 14 kills, 22 digs, and five blocks - all team highs.

Hannah Willow matched her in blocks (5) and Mallory Delamarter did the same in digs (22).

Lauren Willow totaled 11 kills and three blocks while Maddie Lloyd had 16 assists.

Stinger Notes:
  • Kailee McLaughlin rejected four blocks and Emily Jastrzemski added three.
  • Haley Goff chipped in 13 assists.
  • The 'White Out Night' crowd was listed at 1,305.
  • Ashland is 9-2 all-time vs. Cedarville.
  • It will be Senior Day prior to Saturday's match against Tiffin.
