OWENSBORO, Ky. - Cedarville defeated perennial Division II power Southern Indiana as well as Notre Dame (Ohio) to close out the Blue Bridge Battle at Jack Fisher Park.
Arica Flaugher led off the top of the seventh inning against Southern Indiana with a solo blast and the Jackets held on for a come-from-behind 5-4 win.
Flaugher drove in three of the team's five runs including a two-run single in the second that tied the contest at 4-4.
The sophomore DP finished with two hits, three RBI, and a run scored.
Kaley Clark doubled and scored twice. Freshman
Adaline Ziehmer went the distance in the circle with four strikeouts.
Flaugher belted another homer during a 7-2 victory over Notre Dame and
Brooke Miller stroked two hits.
Miller delivered a two-run double in the first inning while Flaugher hammered a two-run shot in the fifth.

Kacey Smith struck out three batters in five innings.
Casey Bertke hurled the final two innings to get the save.
Stinger Notes:
- Southern Indiana scored all four of its runs in the first inning before a batter was retired.
- The Lady Jackets turned two doubles plays against USI.
- Sophia Hevel doubled in the second game and six other players had singles.
- The Jackets are 2-4 all-time vs. Southern Indiana and 14-12 against Notre Dame.
- NDC is scheduled to visit Cedarville on March 6.
