@CedarvilleWBB wears down Ohio Valley, 84-52

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - WBCA Division II No. 9 Cedarville used a big fourth quarter to blow out Ohio Valley, 84-52, in a G-MAC contest at the Callan Athletic Center.

The Lady Jackets extended their winning streak to 15 in a row to improve to 15-1 overall and 15-1 G-MAC.

CU took a 59-45 lead into the final period and then outscored the Fighting Scots, 25-7, featuring one string of 12 unanswered points in a span of three-plus minutes.

Isabelle Bolender supplied a team-high 17 points in 20 minutes of action.

Ashlyn Huffman added 13 points with nine each from Emily Chapman, Paige Garr, and Allie Marshall.

Lexi Moore (11) and Marshall (9) both set career rebounding highs.

Stinger Notes:
  • All eleven Lady Jackets played and ten scored.
  • CU made 10-of-21 three-pointers in the second half.
  • Seven different players contributed to the 13 triples made as a team.
  • The Jackets controlled the boards (41-30) and forced twice as many turnovers (9-18).
