HILLSDALE, Mich. - All five starters scored in double figures and No. 6 seed Cedarville clipped No. 2 Findlay, 76-73, in the G-MAC Men's Basketball Tournament Semifinals at Hillsdale College.
The Yellow Jackets advance to meet longtime rival and No. 4 Malone in Saturday's championship game at 4:00 p.m. EST.
The Pioneers stunned top seed and regular season champion Hillsdale, 74-64, in the other semifinal.
Quinton Green totaled 17 points to lead the balanced offense.
Isaiah Speelman (15 points),
Conner TenHove (14),
Kollin Van Horn (14), and
Branden Maughmer (13) helped spread the scoring around.
Cedarville built a 12-point midway through the second half, but then had to hold on.
The Oilers took a brief 70-69 lead with 2:15 to go. With Cedarville on top 74-73, Findlay missed the front end of a one-and-one with three seconds remaining.
Green converted two free throws and UF missed a long three-pointer at the buzzer.Â

- Maughmer produced team highs of seven rebounds and four assists.
- Green was 2-for-2 from deep and 7-for-9 at the charity stripe.
- The Jackets shot 50 percent from the field and hit on 8-of-17 threes.
- CU defeated the Oilers in two-of-three meetings this season.
- The three games were separated by a total of 13 points.
- The Jackets outscored Findlay 20-8 at the free throw line.
- The two sides committed just six turnovers apiece.
- It was the 103rd meeting between the two schools in a series that began in 1910 -Â Findlay leads, 78-25.
