Cedarville offense erupts on Senior Night

HIGHLIGHTS

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Mark Rowan registered a hat trick to lead the Yellow Jackets to a convincing 6-1 decision over Malone in the final regular season home game of the spring.

Prior to the contest, Cedarville recognized its lone graduating senior - Stephen Bailey.

Rowan muscled in his first goal in the ninth minute before finishing a lunging header in the 27th from Eli Schmidt.

Andre Salviano ricocheted a wicked strike from 25 yards off the crossbar in the 38th minute and then his corner kick five minutes later was headed in by a Pioneer defender.

Sammy Kilimann ripped a 25-yarder from Pedro Alvares early in the second half.

Rowan got his third goal in the 51st minute from twin brother Ben Rowan and Nick Marculo.

Malone converted a penalty kick ten minutes later to avert a shutout.
